Francisco López

Airbus System Engineer

Francisco López Rodríguez received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Seville (Spain). In 2019 he started his PhD at the same university under the supervision of J. M. Maestre and F. J. Muros. He completed his PhD in 2026 with the thesis Robust Modular Control over Graph-Structured Feedback Architectures. His research focused on control of cyber–physical systems with agents or humans in the loop, including topics such as modular and coalitional control, graph-based feedback design, and irrigation canal control. His work addressed the design of robust controllers capable of maintaining stability when communication topologies or actuator availability change. During this period, he worked in parallel at Airbus as a Systems Engineer, where he has accumulated more than five years of professional experience.
