Yufei Tao received her B.Sc. in Automation from Zijing College, Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2022. Her undergraduate thesis focused on an intelligent traffic management system utilising object detection and tracking technology. From 2022 to 2023, she worked as an engineer intern at the physical laboratory of the JCTC (Jinling Customs Technology Centre) in Nanjing, China. From 2023 to 2025, she completed M.Sc. in Mechatronics at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. By 2026, she had published several papers in the field of autonomous driving technology and started her PhD studies at the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering, University of Seville, under the supervision of Dr J. M. Maestre. Her current research focuses on autonomous driving control systems, with the aim of researching and developing methods that balance safety and high efficiency.
